Android based tablets seem to be the most common tablet these days, and of course you have the Ipad as well. Microsoft has been there, but not a dominant force. Things are changing on that end. Along with some tablets like Viewsonics Viewpad, MSI has come out with the WindPad 110W. It runs with a very low power processor from AMD. Much different than the Intel Atom Netbook CPU.
The competition of netbooks and tablets is a fierce battle, however tablets seem to be the winner this year. Some say that tablets are a thing of the past, but they are still selling strong, and will probably be around with more innovative features to compete against the thirst for tablets.
With competition with Apple’s Ipad 2, they are going up against some heavy competition. However, with the specs that I have seen, it seems like a pretty good Tablet. It has: 1 USB port, a HDMI port, rear-facing camera, sim card slot, the screen size is 10.1 inch with the resolution of 1024 x 600 display. It runs on Windows 7 Home Premium, and uses the capacitive touch screen. It has an optical touchpad also. Its battery can last up to 8 hours. This will be a very strong contender in a long list of tablets coming out this year.
