The Samusung Galaxy Tab 2 is the second of the three challengers. It is hard to make a good thing better, but with the Galaxy Tab 2, it has done just that. Not only does it come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the incredibly amazing display, but now comes with a Micro SD card slot, which was lacking on the previous versions. This comes in a 10.1 version and the 7 inch version as well. They both have 1 GB of Ram, and come with the dual core 1GHz NVidia Tegra processor, it is thin and sleek and very similar to the last version. The speed and external look is the same, but with the improved Android Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade and SD Card slot, it is even better than the last one. The best of three is the recent introduction of the Galaxy Note 10.1 It is going to be the main focus for Samsung as the real challenger to the Ipad 3. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is an upgrade to its 5 inch model which had mixed reviews. The Note is different by most tablets because one of its main functions is writing and drawing technology. It comes with a pressure sensitive S-Pen. There will be software and apps to go with this technology, such as Adobe Photoshop Touch and Adobe Ideas, Zen Brush and Hellow Crayon for kids. Another great deal is the fact that its split-screen capabilities. You can put two apps side by side, which is real handy. Another neat app when you are using the web browser, there is a note window that allows you to draw, or take notes while on the internet. It will come with Android 4.0, in the usual 16,32 or 64 GB models, and an extra SD slot too. It is the same brilliant resolution as the others, the 10.1 1280×800 display. It also has a blazing fast 1.4 GHz dual core processor, and the same 3 Megapixel camera on the back, and a 2 Megapixel camera on the front.

All in all, the three contenders are definitely a challenge to the Apple Ipad 3. There is not a tablet out there that can challenge the display that the Ipad 3 has, however, in all other categories, the Samsung tablets come out to be the winner.
