Acer Iconia Dual Screen Touchbook Tablet Review

Acer is coming out with some great Notebooks and Tablets. Their latest notebook/tablet is the intriguing Acer Iconia Touchbook, that totes the dual touch screen view. They have fused the tablet and the notebook into one beautiful package. The touch screen is responsive, and smooth, durable and scratch-resistant. Both screens are 14 inches wide, and made from Gorilla Glass. The touchpad has handwriting recognition and converts it effortlessly. To get the virutal keyboard to appear, you simply place both palms on the bottom screen and the virtual full-sized keyboard and virtual numeric keypad appear! How cool is that?!!

The Acer Iconia Touchbook is powered by a Intel Dual Core i5 2.66GHz processor, and has Intel HD graphics. It comes with a whopping 4GB of RAM, and up to 640GB SATA hard drive. It has 3 USB ports, 128MB of Dedicated Graphics Memory, a incredible virtual keyboard, a touch based browser, Wifi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Version.

The only discouraging aspect is the price, and the short lasting battery life (only 3 hours). Although the Acer touchbook is incredible, the price is around $1,100. A fun notebook, is it worth the price? Definitely yes.
